Well said Sir. One other issue is the vagueness of terms that are used. "Greater good" sounds benevolent and profound but must, in my opinion, be always balanced with the rights of the few or the one. The greater good does not happen to a blob of individual souls whose existences are somehow now subsumed by the utterance of the term. That to me seems to be a fiction of words that leaves the real people out of the deliberations at times. In reality good or bad occurs to individual selves who have rights by the fact of their existence. Peace my friend.
