Yes. Different persons will find that they gravitate towards depth or breadth naturally.

Neither approach is mistaken - and thosew choosing either path would be advised to also nurture a degree of the other.

When it comes to getting things done, having access to a solid and productive team is key - and yes - they need plenty of building to get there.
