Always a great read, you write so well as if you do it for a living, I agree, the game is rigged, what we call capitalism in the US doesn't even follow the principal's of Capitalism, Corporations are subsidized by our government at the expense of taxpayers, Corporate Socialism is the American Way, Degrowth could work if implemented slowly, with automation and computer AI Degrowth will happen if you like it or not, to say we progress or evolve as a society will not happen under the predatory capitalism we are all prisoners too, The public is brainwashed and I laugh at people screaming frantically how evil Socialism is and it's the talking heads they parrot are Socialist for Corporate Socialism! A 4 day work week would be a great start,but we are slaves to the 40 hour mark. I believe the younger generations the Boomer's complain so much about have a better vision and insight, I think the future will be bright and the millennials and younger will set us on the right path.
