I am convinced that I am right but you have different notion,
You judge me as per your notion and jump in to conclusion,
You may be right to regard my belief as ethical transgression,
I am right to uphold my belief as societal progression.

We agree there is an irreversible moral decay,
Trust as an ethics has lost its significance to dismay,
Be it a surgeon stealing kidneys to earn some bucks,
A teacher marauding the modesty of student, that sucks.

Good acts with best intentions seem like an act of hypocrisy,
When moral collapse is eating the foundations of the society,
Different sets of moral codes for different genders,
Crimes of masculine gender are called innocent blunders

The world has no objection to witness moral degeneration,
When a vice is called in its proper name, they feel indigestion,
ATM coughs up more than he ordered, it is a gift of God,
In his act, he made even God as accomplice in his fraud.

TV anchors shape our grasp of ethical considerations,
Arnab Goswamy or Oprah became arbiters of moral codifications,
Right or wrong is not determined by weight of our conscience,
