It's funny how we over think the most simple things in life trying to understand the complexity of an obstacle we face. Our initial response tends to be a bit extreme until we step aside, take a breather and assess the situation.

I've noticed a ton of users accepting this idea that luck is the key factor in achieving success in this community. For me, this is an excuse and a very toxic mentality destroying the very root of creativity. With that being said... I now present

How Hungry Are You?

At one point, this was my go to question, challenging myself to excel past my goals. It seemed like a pretty cool question to get the motivation flowing and I was convinced of it's power.. until I realized the question itself is a load of crap.

Think about it...

Whenever you're hungry... you eat, no questions asked because the solution is that simple.

The Value Of Luck

When I see steemers give up, stop trying and start using the "LUCK" excuse.. my stomach growls in disappointment. I know it sounds a bit concerning and probably something I should go get checked out.. I would say I'm already ahead of you on that but I later realized that I was coincidentally sitting on the toilet, every time this happened.

Even though my belly growls from taking mean ass dumps.. There still is a message to be translated which is... Using "luck" to excuse the failure of post is bullshit and a cop out. If you're not convinced that "luck" is merely an obstacle then here's a good example.

This isn't a lottery, powerball or a God damn racetrack, This is your opinion, creation or a God damn contribution to anarchism and I guarantee you luck isn't part of that strategy.
