Martín Prechtel is one of the most profound teachers I have yet to encounter.

I share this video here in the hopes that you will be similarly inspired.

Inspiring hope, solace, and courage in living through our losses, author Martín Prechtel, trained in the Tzutujil Maya shamanic tradition, shares profound insights on the relationship between grief and praise— how the inability that many of us have to grieve and weep properly for the dead is deeply linked with the inability to give praise for living.

"Long life, honey in the heart"

I saw Martin speak in Minneapolis. What a conscious and funny fellow. I couldn't believe how patient he was after the talk, he met with every single person who was there and wished to talk with him and/or get their book signed. He never seemed put off for a second by the amount of time it was taking.
