What is in a word, we all have to think twice, words do change, at least the meaning of a word placed in a certain context. Time is changing, behaviour is changing, meanings are changing,.. everything do change.
Yet, it is also up to us whether we allow them to change it. The words are not hijacked because the word changed. They are hijacked to FORCE a change and to ride upon the emotional connotations of the word that they are changing.
