Sadly, this is the nature of humans. When we are in misery we want others to be miserable too. Like they say, Misery loves company! But I agree with you, we must overcome these feelings of jealousy and envy!
Human nature gets manupilated by all the external influences which is very very sad. I wish that people can truly live with the feeling of Love and Compassion always
