Yeah I've been accused of saying life is meaningful. I never said that. My theories actually show exactly why life can be meaningless. Because there's A. values (the world as we want it to be) and B. life (the world as it is). If the latter clashes with the former to a great degree, it "falsifies" the values, and so life - from the perspective of the organism that holds those values - is declared meaningless. "My values don't agree with the world as it is. Therefore life is meaningless." That's the nihilist cry. That's the reaction of the intensely religious person who finds out there's no God, no inherent justice in the universe, etc. That's the reaction of the mother who lost her child.

So I don't believe life is meaningless or meaningful: it depends what values you hold.

So, yeah, to whom indeed.

You're sharp, and I like that. =3

I'm happy we're both part of DeepThink.

I think we'll do some great philosophy together.
