RE: More on the shadow and maturity

in #philosophy7 years ago

Acceptance is sometimes the hardest thing to do specially when you are still immature. You'll know you're growing up (and maturing) when you finally understand the extent of acceptance, that sometimes, even if you can't understand the situation, you have to accept that it happened and you need to extract the lesson out of that situation even if you still have a LOT of questions why it happened, because if you don't,things will take it's toll on you and you'll wonder why everybody else is moving forward while you're still figuring things out why it had to happen. No one can really help us if don't help ourselves, the motivation and determination must come from our inner desires of wanting to change. Thank you for sharing this @lloyddavis. Great content!

Another thing about growing up - it's coming to accept that the rest of the world might know more than you, that the people you meet and the things that you read might have something to teach you.
