Why You Are A God and How You Can Change The World!
Asking forgiveness from God is technically the right thing to do…
In order to achieve various degrees of happiness whilst helping fellow humans progress in life, asking forgiveness from “God” is technically the right thing to do, but only technically.
Structurally, all the concepts of all the many God’s that have existed at one time or another, throughout thousands of years from different people’s different belief systems, structurally, all these belief systems were aiming for a better good; trying to get people to work and play happily along together in order to build a better society, a better future for the next generations of people.
The only reason why any religion’s version of ‘God’ is wrong is because of the technicalities of how things have been interpreted over time - How all the knowledge about life and its meanings have been passed along for generations over thousands of years of evolution.
Think about the grand picture
How knowledge is passed on determines how each and every person will behave and act in the world, how they will think, act and behave according to what they believe about why they are alive and for what purpose they feel or think they are existing on this planet for.
Religions of any kind make people think about the ultimate grandness of existence. From the heavens of God aka the Universe, to the individual self often labelled the ‘soul’.
Some people believe in God and believe they have a soul, others believe in one or the other but not both at the same time, and some people believe in neither God nor Soul as they are content with waiting to hear back from Science which will prove with evidence, one thing or another, and tell them directly what the truth is, what it is in fact one should believe.
Non! Of these ways of thinking are incorrect. Whatever you feel you should think, you should think. But only if you have concluded this for yourself and not been told by someone else what or how to think.
Every body is different! and everybody has a different purpose for being alive at this time on Earth, and every individual being a different reason for doing what they do.
The art of life
The art of life overall is to find a balance, one that feels good for you and those that surround you. A balance in your life for which you can exist happily with fellow life forms who share this blue planet together, whilst enjoying what you are good at by trying to do thing that you enjoy doing.
To get balance you have to continue to compromise on all levels, with all things you encounter along the way. The true meaning of life is for all things to find that pleasurable equilibrium which equates to a pleasurable existence.
Religious Concept
The religious concept of any kind is ideal to a certain point because it instructs people in many different ways to reflect upon themselves. Reflect on their problems, their day to day activities, how they react and behave in life, it gets people to think about how they can improve themselves and their actions, now or in the future etc.
Religion's conceptual design, its structure of intent, always started out as a good intention, a positive way of thinking to unite people.
The meaning of asking for forgiveness from something almighty is correct! It does indeed help to get people to find the time to think about themselves, their actions and how others are affected, which of course we all know is vital in order for any society in nature to function effectively and survive.
Where things start to go wonky-wrong
The point at which religion is interpreted and actioned out incorrectly, is when the ancient arts, relics, stories etc. that have been left behind from our ancestors (who were more in touch with themselves than we currently are), have been and are, interpreted at face value. That is to say, people interpret and believe the information exactly how they see it is witten or displayed, rather than using all of the latest skills and knowledge available at the time.
Interpretation
One must think about what a story or image means from every perspective on every level in order to decipher and interpret the information and knowledge fully and correctly, as 100% truth.
Just like science has discovered atoms and quantum particles by continuing to question the world with an open and ever-adjusting mind, one must continue to look deeper and change the angle of perspective as you work your way around the many ways possible in which a story or painting could be interpreted.
It’s all about perspective
Interpreting true meanings of any form of creativity on display requires the ability to think about everything, every perspective from every angle at which something could mean something else.
An example of an angle of thinking that one needs to consider is the Metaphorical Perspective:
A metaphor is a figure of speech that describes an object or action in a way that isn’t literally true, but helps explain an idea or make a comparison.
Another example would be the Simile Perspective:
A simile is where two things are directly compared because they share a common feature
(Two peas in a pod)
So to begin interpreting any story of any kind, you would need to:
Compare what is written or drawn out visually with what the story is actually talking about/expressing.
Then, compare both sets of everything you have concluded with the overall, bigger picture of what the story is intended for i.e why is the story being told in the first place and what is the creator trying to tell or show you.
Then you need to use those 3 sets of comparisons/conclusions to try and figure out the final puzzle piece, which is, why did that person or those people tell that story for in the first place, what made them create it when they did and what were they trying to say to everyone and why? etc…
Complex or what!
As you can already tell, this is a complex thing to do, and in the days before technology and lacks of information, not everyone would have been aware of all the different types of skills needed in order to interpret history correctly.
So all the people that were skilled in a particular set of knowledge would do their best to interpret things, but you can see how easily different people interpret different things, this is why we have so many different religions in the world.
But, despite the varied outcomes of interpretations of the same pieces of informations, the majority of people, regardless of what background of knowledge they had/have, most people grasp the basic meaning of what the stories/pieces of history are about;-
A better way of living by thinking and caring about other people, beings and things, thinking about your own actions and behaviours as well as that of others
With the overall moral of the story being; Always do your best to work positively together, to build a better, happier future for your society and the next generations of life.
The Main Reason
The main and biggest reason for any story’s purpose is to project a good intention or idea out into the world in order to try and make a positive impact, a positive difference somehow, somewhere. Because it is the ultimate reward for anyone!
Something you did, stemming from the efforts you’ve made in gathering knowledge over all the time of your life so far, all the thinking that you do, all the acting out, the caring, all of the energy which you use every day in order to get all this stuff done, all of it becomes worth it to you and your feelings if you manage to create and say something to someone that is worth while somehow, because then you will feel rewarded, you will feel good by the impact and difference that you have made to your surroundings one way or another.
Togetherness
Bringing people together (which is how humans and many other animals survive and thrive best!) is the best and ultimate way to make a difference, therefore it is the best thing you can try to do in order to make changes to the world.
And it doesn’t matter what scale you are able to do this on!
It doesn’t always have to be the bigger picture aim, whereby you feel that you need to be a rich King with so much power in order to be able to boss everyone around and put them in their places just so you can get exactly what you want.
That is clearly not the way to go as we can repeatedly see from our ancestors and history.
If you ruin other people’s lives and attitudes/feelings by forcing them to give up what they want, in the end, at some point, there will be some form of protest or war stemming from the anger you created by being too selfish with your plans of change.
Unless you are in a position of power, meaning, if you have enough people around you to make an impact on the large scales of things directly (such as being a queen, president or council making decisions that change the country or the world), then you have to accept! That you are destined to make an impact on a smaller scale first before you can achieve you big impact on the world.
If you accept this, you can then put all of your efforts and focus onto these many, many, small and accessible areas where you can potentially make a difference.
Start inwards and work your way out of the onion that we call the Earth
Like a whirlwind, you need to pick up speed to gain power…
You gain speed and power by gathering more energy. A whirlwind gathers more and more particles to get its energy, you need to gather more and more people to get yours.
When there’s enough particles using the same types of energy; or when there’s enough people with the same frames of mind or the same outlooks on life, or similar visions of what the future could be etc... When there’s enough energy, a powerful force is generated.
This is what is needed to create a whirlwind, an energy that has enough force to make a big impact, to drive a change by destroying old things whilst paving the way for new things to be created.
How?
The ways in which you can make a world-sized change from a small scaled angle could be something as simple as talking to friends about your ideas (as this helps to alter other people’s ways of thinking about the world as they see things from your different perspective), or listen to people to see how much their perspectives on life match your vision of the ideal future, then you take on board all this information and and adapt your own plans accordingly, compromising where possible in order to establish happy relations, thus, to gain that extra power, make that extra connection with someone so that you can try to make that big world difference.
Creativity is Order
People use writing or drawing, or any other creative form of display, when they simply want to tell other people a ‘this’ or a ‘that’. Of course any display can always be discussed amongst people afterwards, this is the part that drives the flows of potential change! But the actual piece of created art that gets put out on display will stand its test of time by informing people of the thing it was intended to say, and it will let the people decide what to take and action from it.
This is what civilisation is all about
People with similar mindsets will share similar concepts of what the art display means to them, and they will group together in appreciation.
People who agree the art means ‘this’, or something along the lines of ‘this’, will group together so they can discuss things further and appreciate the exchange of similar information and knowledge with like-minded people.
People who disagree with the meaning of ‘this’ because they think it means ‘that’, will also group together in appreciation of the fact they have also found other like-minded people that agree with their own beliefs and concepts.
Therefore, by grouping together, people are able to talk about things they enjoy with similar types of people, meaning there’s less chance of conflicts and arguments during discussions and knowledge sharing, meaning the ideas and beliefs that you think are good, are able to be thought through and worked on much quicker, which, when you have a short time existing on this planet, that's what you want, to make the most of it by getting as much achieved as possible.
That it how civilisations were formed and that is how our societies have developed and that how they all move with the times and all flow with the overall population’s opinions.
Arguments get you nowhere, Debates get you thinking
Arguments are problems between people who have two different ideas that will lead in two opposite directions towards different destinations or outcomes. Whilst you are stuck arguing you are getting nowhere.
Debates are matters that are in need of discussion between people who have two different ideas(directions) that will lead to the same destination.
Arguments halt progress because until compromise and agreements can be made, nothing can move forward. Nothing can move forward because nobody can agree which direction forward should be.
Debates do not halt progress, they just slow it down, but that is necessary for the best progressive outcomes to occur because debates help to iron out the details, and the more details you have, the better decisions you can make for the most suitable ways to move forward.
So the reason you should create is...
In order to try and alter the way people should consider thinking, such as how they think about a particular idea or concept within the world in which you are trying to change, you first need to figure out how you can make a statement of what you want to say or express i.e write a book, create music, draw something, even just talking to people!
And even if you really struggle to do anything like that for yourself, you can always try to make a difference by helping other people to be more creative instead. Perhaps you can help by getting them to imagine things a certain way or think about things from a particular angle/perspective, think outside the box etc.
Sometimes just showing people how you think about things in the world can help them change the way they think.
We all think differently, the art is to share our thoughts where possible and suitable.
So you see, no matter how small you think your difference/impact is, you still have the potential to make a world sized change just as much as the next person.
Projecting a good idea
Projecting a good idea or story is the ultimate reason for why any creator, expressing any form of art (writing, drawing, singing, dancing etc.) says and does what they do. It is the reason why anybody bothers to make the efforts to create something in the first place.
Why did/does/do people bother to go to so much effort to write or draw or speak or create all these books or stories, paintings or cartoons, make movies, share knowledge or spread information?
Why do some people go out of there way to protect an object, a piece of text, an ancient tapestry?
*Always consider everything before concluding you have the ultimate answer and solution. Always questions WHY?!
Interpreting God
There is a lot one could say about why all the concepts of God are wrong in some way, maybe that’s for another post.
But the point trying to be made here is that, given how much anyone can make a difference no matter what is in range of your abilities, one does not need to look to the heavens in order to find answers to achieve things and make a difference. Nor should one let a mystical, imaginary being take all the credit for all the good things you achieve in your life.
One just has to look within themselves, ask who they are, what they like and dislike, how and where can they display what is on their mind according to the home in which they reside, the community in which they live, the people that they know etc.
When you feel bad about something, you must ask yourself questions until you locate the exact reasons (and yes, there’s often more than one!), you find the reasons why? you feel bad, you think about what? you could have done differently so next time, in similar circumstances you will not do or say the same things again in that way, and then you make sure to apologise or make things right if you have caused any external upsets/negativity. Then you will be able to sleep in peace, and start the next day a fresh. Set out once again to start you whirlwind.
You do not, and should not need this almighty external "God". If you look at the relics of our histories and interpret them correctly you will see that the Gods, our Souls, everything, is in fact, something we can control from within. God, is YOU!
An enjoyable, positive post.
In places it reminds me of Joseph Campbell's 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces'.
It's great to read a different take on these concepts.
Glad you enjoyed! :D It's nice to know my words remind you of such a book...I will eventually get around to reading it! Just need to empty my head to make more room i think :D ...Getting there ;)
It was motivational!
That's good to know! Thanks :D
