Excellent follow-up article ! But I am not so sure about the historically accurate repiction of Zeno, since the greek academics have long debated about his decorative accessories. The latest theory supports that he was quite a hardcore ganster with the constant tendecy of wearing golden chains around his neck.

And an actual fact: The name Stoicism comes from the greek word Στωικισμός which comes from the greek word Στοά for the Arcade/Portico. This is because Zenon was usually giving his lectures inside the Ποικίλη Στοά a famous arcade near the ancient market (Αγορά) of Athens.
