I was a bit taken aback by the comment when I came across it. How do you solve a problem if you don't discuss about it? People who feel we shouldn't limit our discussions about the steem platform may have a point, but it's the only way to know where we are and currently heading.
It's not about echo chambers, retention issues need to be discussed by as many people as possible in my opinion, to find the best possible solution going forward
It is fine if by oneself which is perhaps the problem for this community. People take the position of, 'do what you want as an individual' but require the community for change.
