Philosophy, and the continuous struggle
Personally, I am a human. I often spend time trying to understand what I am, who I am, plus what and who we are as humans, and where the line lies. How much of who I am is a human experience, and how much is an @ecoinstant experience? Apart from contemplation, I also read a lot, I try to engage in philosophical discussions as much as possible (to the detriment of many lesser topics, like the weather), and I try to hang around and listen to people smarter and wiser than me.
And I struggle.
One thing I believe is true about humans, and not just me, is that things seem hard to us. It doesn't matter how enviable someone's position is to others, there is a 110% chance that that someone is struggling. Please tell me if you are not struggling with anything so I can lower that percentage.
Life is hard, even when it is easy. This to me is more paradoxical than George Washington's Axe or Theseus' Ship, because one can logically deduce that it is hard to be human, even though it is impossible for us to be anything else.

Remember this paradox, the next time you are dealing with another person. Chances are good, no, actually chances are CERTAIN that they are struggling with something.
No matter how green the grass looks on the other side, remember - It's not that easy being green!
EXCELLANT point. we are what we are because god made us this way. we are all we are going to be unless god come to change us. be proud of who you are and make the best of it. don't listen to someone who might make you feel lesser than! hold your head up and go forth and be all you can and should be. no....i am not a marine.
