RE: Good posts interfaced: Co. Start-up mistakes by @dragosroua and The Value of Knowledge by @thewisesloth
That is very much appreciated ... you don't know how!! Coming up with mechanisms to draw steemians into conversation with positive outcomes is the aim. I am aware that we all need to ensure that we earn votes and steem but if it is all votes and steem it is not social media! There is a tug of war which is felt by us all both internally and on the platform as a whole.
My view, albeit a bit utopian, is that if you take care of your content, the rest will take care of itself. Not looking at the scoreboard is a tough discipline in any environment though.
Thanks again!
totally agree buddy, my perception is a social media network on the edge of tech and reward opps which is the case here already combined with a lot of interaction as this will drive the masses to the platform or the other way round drive them away again (look at FB, every hates it but no ones leaves yet, interaction part still important even 99% is useless). With these new models you have not a lot time to prove it is sustainable reward-wise plus it is an active community. Think steemit is on a great way, lot great content generators, fantastic tech and crypto background I personally love - but i see and saw with similar platforms that failed we need to keep all (soon to be) users happy not only the early adopters. @ned @dan - i think you created something special! Let us all work on future success, key in my opinion coming from PR is interacting and listening to the crowd, which can / should be every little single new user. Do not want sound like a preacher though - and tagging the two bosses is no fishing for up votes really. I only think at the moment it is perfect for the people here, when the masses comes this will be a totally different challenge in managing other people, other kind of requests.
