Good News: Capitalism Cannot Be Saved
By "capitalism" we mean any ideology regarding Humans and Nature as "assets" and condoning profit deriving from their exploitation. Even communism is capitalism to that extent.
We spent this week wandering the headlines and shaking our head in disbelief, and inserted those retaining our attention here below to share them with you.
The concept of trade works best when limited to people who live close to and know each other. Meaning that trade has to remain very local to have more upsides than downsides, that also restricts earnings of course though. But still on that small scale collusion does happen since our values are built upon hierarchy. Monetarism is the cement of the latter.
To increase trade, there is no way around other than expanding the business. It is the "consolidation effect" that turns trade into a psychopathic way of life. So when you take a look at the headlines below, you can see by yourself that we merely are stating the obvious.
When commerce depends on such massive shenanigans, it is pretty clear that the global economy has no future whatsoever.
It took us 10 years or so of investigation to come to term with the following 3 axioms:
- if there is no profit there is no reason for money to exist (cooperation will do instead)
- the mere presence of money is what drives profit. There is no way to prevent the plundering mentality
- the flaw is embedded in the premise. Money cannot fix any problems and even accelerates them
Nothing regenerative that can happen until we begin to admit that our situation is desperate -- and deal with it!

Capitalism is actually free trade along with basic property rights. The right to your life, the right to the fruits of your labor, and the right to trade or gift whatever you own.
Capitalism has brought most people out of subsistence living. Before capitalism, 99.5% of people lived in abject poverty. Now less than 10% do. Famines and plagues have been wiped off the earth in spite of the fact that there is ten times the population today.
