Do these words really mean what people have been conditioned to believe they do?

I began a series of blog entries on word hijacking in the past. If you have a chance please read my earlier blogs as they kind of setup what I mean by hijacking of words and give some other examples.

Anarchy

This one will likely be short as there are a lot of examples of this being explained by the many fellow anarchists on steemit.com. It is however, a good example of what I am referring to when I speak of hijacking words.

It has been hijacked to make people think of chaos, disorder, riots, violence, and many other things.

It actually means No Leaders, or No Rulers.

No government or entity with AUTHORITY to tell you how to live. That is ultimately the simplest interpretation.

As a ideological movement that those calling ourselves anarchist ascribe to the shared vision is no government (aka no state), Natural Law, and following the Non-Aggression Principle.

It is actually radically different from the hijacked version. The violence, coercion, and attacking others actually fit a Government, and don't fit Anarchy at all.

Climate Change

The way this phrase (not word) has been hijacked is not actually the same. It's meaning has not been changed. In this case it is just pretty shady the way it was used.

Let's start with the concept of Anthropogenic Global Warming, also known as Global Warming caused by man. This is a very specific thing. It is looking for a very specific thing. It's theory rests on the concept that the temperatures on the earth are rising and that this is predominantly being caused by man.

That is something that can be tested, challenged, measured, proven, or disproven.

I am not here to say it is right or wrong. I want to talk about Climate Change and essentially another form of hijacking.

Do you think Climate Change and Global Warming are the same thing?

I assure you they are not. That is much like saying Food and Hamburgers are the same thing.

If I say "everyone in the world is going to be eating hamburgers we must do something about it".

That would be something easy to observe and test.... correct?

How about if I instead started saying "everyone in the world is going to eat food we must do something about it". That would be kind of rigged to always be true, correct? We all need to eat food.

Well Climate Change and Global Warming share that same relationship. Global Warming is a specific type of Climate Change.

So now when you hear someone saying we "must do something about climate change" please take the time to realize it is no different than my FOOD example. They have rigged the game to always be true. If the world cools (not warms) that is still Climate Change. If a volcano erupts and chills the earth that is still climate change. If the sun does something different that changes our climate that is still climate change. If the moon is impacted and its orbit changed that would cause climate change. If the earths axis tilts that is climate change.

When they use the word "Climate Change" they are rigging the game. They literally can never be wrong. Yet they are also not giving you a specific target to be concerned about.

Anthropogenic Global Warming was very specific. Have you ever considered why they stopped using it?

Occult

Is hijacked to mean mysticism, magick, pagan religions, satanism, demonology, and often anything a religious person believes is against their religion.

Actually all it means is HIDDEN KNOWLEDGE. So yes the things they hijack it to mean could indeed be occult, or they could be wide out in the open in which case they are not occult.

When you encrypt a file you are actually hiding the knowledge so if you have some humor you could be OCCULTING it.

When government classifies information they are occulting it.

When you censor something you are making that something occult.

The Dead Sea Scrolls were Occult but now they are out in the open. They were hidden knowledge.

Conspiracy Theory

Has been hijacked to now mean nut job, someone who does not know what they are talking about, someone that is a waste of time to listen to, or someone who is immediately wrong.

It has a very specific meaning.

Conspiracy - is the act of conspiring.

Conspiring - to join in a secret agreement to do an unlawful or wrongful act or an act which becomes unlawful as a result of the secret agreement (accused of conspiring to overthrow the government)

Conspiring - can also mean SCHEME

Scheme - a clever and often dishonest plan to do or get something

Theory - an idea or set of ideas that is intended to explain facts or events
Theory - an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true

It is important that Theory does not mean TRUE, it also does not mean FALSE. It is an idea. It does not mean the idea cannot and should not be challenged. Yet it also does not mean it is FALSE because someone chose to call it a conspiracy theory.

Furthermore, let's look at this in the aspect of 911 Conspiracies.

Have you considered that by this definition EVEN the official story put forth by the Government is a Conspiracy Theory? In fact, all that exists is conspiracy theories. We cannot question the people on the planes, we do not have a time machine, much of the information has been occulted.

So do yourself a favor if you find yourself having a kneejerk reaction to the words conspiracy theory, don't. A person sharing ideas with you is not wrong just because someone decides to use those two words against them. That does not mean they are right either.
