Paying It Forward

in #philosophy8 years ago (edited)

Some of my favorite videos to watch on Youtube are the videos of people doing things for others. There are countless videos of people gifting others with dream homes, dream cars, feeding the homeless, giving away tips to hardworking people, and plenty more. I find these videos to be truly inspiring and I am thankful for platforms like Youtube which enable individuals to create a sort of business out of helping others.

Usually when you give away things to others this isn't something that creates a business for you. A business is traditionally centered and focused around taking-in profit rather than only giving it away. But Youtube and other similar sites allow people to monetize their videos of them helping others and that gives them even more money to fund their projects and be able to help even more individuals that they come across. The site essentially enables people to establish a business that is centered around giving away to others.

The 'Pay It Forward' Youtube crowd has generated millions of dollars and it has enabled thousands of people to help their friends, families, and many of them able to help complete strangers. Whether it's stopping just to offer time to help them change a flat tire, or even giving away the shoes directly off their feet, there sure is a lot of inspiration to be found and a lot of people who are focused on doing good in the world. Youtube is a greatly beneficial tool and a game-changer for fostering the business of love, giving, and caring.

Many of us sometimes don't stop to realize just how blessed we are and for that how grateful we should be, there are thousands of people just within our own cities alone who are struggling every day. An act of kindness is never wasted and quite often it can and has inspired a ripple effect that will prompt others to engage in kindness as well. If we want to change the world in the way of helping others, we have the ability to get out there and do it, and Youtube is just one of the tools that can help us to do it. No doubt it won't be long before someone considers using steemit in that way as well.

Beautiful...
We already have a #payitforward here. But I like your idea better.
If you want to use it for that I don't mind a bit and I doubt anyone using the tag will mind either.

Good post.. I think everyone is guilty at sometime in our lives about taking what we have for granted. Maybe its our good health, our job, our family that is near and dear to us, or even our friends. I like to remember things may not always be available and never underestimate the value of whats good in your life. Thanks for your post..... :)

Excellent - keep it up :)
