Truth is knowing it is not logic . Logic is very dialectic and prone to fallacies.

For example knowing the properties of knife is truth.
Politician will say knife leads to more crime so I am going to create a legislation to ban knife and create a knife owners registry.

Cult leader will instruct their members to stock pile loads of knives for self defence.

Religious leaders will decree sacrifice animals using knives to save your souls.

Narcissists surgeon will think I am almighty because I use knife to save people's lives.

All of them know the truth about knife but use dialectic and logical fallacies to manipulate people's minds.
