Why would I want to experience something that is in reality an illusion.....False Evidence Apppearing Real?
Because fear helps you make sensible decisions. Compassion also arises out of fear. You know the consequences of certain actions and therefore you don't want that to happen to other people. Fear is only IMPORTANT so that you don't get too full of yourself, stay a little DISPASSIONATE and then also make SENSIBLE DECISIONS. Fear-Sensible Decisions-No HAUMAI( Not getting too full of yourself )- Dispassion. This is what we are after so that we can live a sensible live and be free from doing something that may potentially harm someone.
