RE: This Is Why I Live My Life Inversely

in #philosophy7 years ago

Thanks so much for sharing. Your view of the world is very similar to my own. Often, the only way to overcome the burning feelings of anguish is to sit in the fire of suffering until it no longer hurts.

We are trained to avoid suffering, but it is often the fear and avoidance of suffering that leads to the greatest suffering.

Your thoughts on slowing down are KEY. We are pushed through life like rats in a maze, and slowing down is frowned upon. It must be valued and praised!

I'm enjoying your reflection thoughts here. Sitting in the fire definitely seems and may even feel counterproductive at first, but it's where we establish our roots, and also where we discover the root cause of why we feel the way we feel.

Slowing down is something I'd love to teach to our youth. We truly ARE conditioned to think it's a crazy fast rat maze, when in reality, it's whatever we say it is.

Cheers!
