Of course, I am glad to be respected by others because of my great work and my good attitude. However, it's not easy to make ourselves to be respected if we ourselves do not respect others. So, people should respect each other either on the strengtheness or weaknesses they have.
You are indeed worthy to be respected and you are right, we must respect each other all the time. :)
