@phusionphil Tracking weapons with a ledger could be an interesting method for tracking them, but to try and track every round fired is simply ridiculous. There are so many individuals (In America specifically) who remanufacture their own ammunition with spent brass. Many of them have no desire to have their practices traced on a public ledger.
