The Matrix of life: The world is separating us with love dolls

This is more an opinion piece, but I think it's an ongoing problem that is set to get much worse.

I'm not a prude, in fact when I am with my friends I can be very raw, blunt, and sometimes base. I like making jokes about sex, drugs, partying etc..but it's just on the surface. Underneath I am more conservative, believe in moralistic behavior, even biblical based beliefs (no matter what denomination).

I have a live and let live approach to life; but I do share my opinion and battle when I see "morality" deviate to lower depths.

You see, I have a son and my ex-wife just gave him his own cell-phone. Only 15 years ago I would be lucky to get a pager. Now everyone has a cell phone accept for my dog. We might as well put an apple watch on any new born child. My son is reaching that point where I have to have "the talk".. In fact I have already tried and his response was surprising. He already knew all about the birds and the bee's and his friends discuss it. However with his cell-phone I can only gather where he will be surfing without control.

Pornography

I was exposed to pornography at a young age. Suffice it to say, I believe it stunted my growth as a man in my younger years. It definitely objectified women, and I believe it made it hard for me to relate to woman when it came to sexual discovery. I don't promote sexual discovery, by I was raised in that kind of environment. I even had no idea girls liked me back then; only because I could see the "real" goods with a click of a VCR. If we only knew the harm the industry causes on a psychological level we might not be so quick to promote it.

I wasn't very promiscuous as a teen, but my friends left and right were getting girls. It got to the point where my parent's actually thought I might be gay. So I basically was peer-pressured to give it up with the first "hot" girl I knew that advanced towards me. All those years of watching didn't really help me prepare for being sexually active. After all it was easier just watching and not having to "give back". I'm sure others have their opinions, but if I could, I would cyber-nanny my kids phone. Unfortunately my EX has my kids 70% of the time, so how can I battle that?

Trends with technology and Culture

Like anyone I check the "fear porn" or more commonly known as mainstream news. When I was scrolling for "normal" articles, I was stunned to see an interview regarding the new  love (sex) dolls. No offense to those who like them, but I find them extremely disturbing and creepy. Not only can you watch whatever you want, but now you have an object that cannot express real human emotion, which I believe in the end completely disassociates you from intimacy with another human being. I had no idea it was a booming industry. Sure you can do whatever you want with it and it doesn't hurt other people. These love dolls become more real by every year. Programmed AI which tries to mimic an actual person, designed to look and feel like a porn star.. what could go wrong right?

If we ever lived in a world where things are objectified, this is probably the best realization of that concept. I don't know why it bothers me so much. I love woman, I love their form, and their Gd given sex appeal. However shelling out up to $10,000 for an artificial relationship with technology is becoming the trend. At one point do we realize the matrix of life is a never ending maze that removes us from being human. Human beings are social creatures, and by such we are removing that aspect from our lives. 

I know this is not a trending subject, but I do believe it requires deeper recognition of what is really happening. We walk with our phones in our face, we sit in front of a screen, and now we make love to artificial creations? 

Don't think this will end well for humanity.
