This was interesting. I always enjoyed descussions about the power of words, stories, and imagery. I actually made it a bit of a theme when I would write about literature in college. In a sense, literary creation can be viewed as an act of divine creation. It made a great lens to view Paradise Lost trough but the concept particularly strong in Leslie Marmon Silko's novel Ceremony (it is totally worth reading, by the way).

This isn't exactly the angle from which I typically approach this concept but the power of words and language are undeniable.
