Passion, More Than Addicting

Why is passion such a powerful motivator? It looks feels like an addiction, and if someone told you to stop, it would be impossible for you to give it up.

Passion is also highlighted as an inclination or wish to try and do something one likes to do or thinks is extremely important to try and do. Dualistic passion is known as two different types of passion, each having totally different outcomes.

Harmonious passion is when people do something because they love it in a controllable and manageable way; and obsessive passion is something where people have an uncontrollable urge to get involved in an activity, and also the result will not be as favourable.

Don't Dwell In Somebody Else's Success

However, following your passion is not as straightforward or as simple as some people make it out to be. Yes, we've all read stories about those once-in-a-lifetime moments where what someone likes to do falls right into their laps. However, this is often the rare exception rather than the rule. For many people, making time in their lives to try and do what they love takes patience, hard work, and persistence.

The enemy of passion is frustration. If you constantly struggle with something, you’ll never become addicted to it. You learn to avoid it entirely, guaranteeing you never improve.

Do Something That You Enjoy

Most people get this backwards. They suppose we discover our passion, that makes us good at something. It’s really finding that you’re good that comes first. Passion comes from success.

We are all on the search for happiness, that's. Therefore, we're tied to life passion and doing what we were meant to do. Our passion is what we would like to try and do naturally, not what sounds good or what others want us to try and do.

Surround Yourself With Like-Minded People

Passion is that the fuel that drives us to get out of bed in the morning; it moves us toward our goals. Sometimes, finding our passion simply should do with being attentive to our inner voice and ignoring the noise around ourselves telling oneself what we should do.

It’s also about encompassing ourselves with people who have similar interests, and passions we admire. If we tend to like being alone, usually it’s best to distance ourselves from others. Therefore we will hear our inner voice clearly.
