Poor People In Modern Society 🎭 Making Companies Pay Tax? 💢

Futile Attempt?

The real advocates of "trickle down" are liberals: they believe if we have a tendency to tax everybody and give money to the government, that it'll eventually come back trickling all the way down to the poor. However we've spent over twenty-two trillion dollars on anti-poverty programs these last fifty years, and impoverishment still persists.

It seems this paradigm does not work. What will work is providing tax incentives, i.e. lower taxes, to stimulate economic investment. We all know that's true because of how cities supply tax incentives to draw in or keep businesses in their cities, and since corporations leave countries such as the US to avoid paying high taxes.

Growing Local Economies Or Amazons Pockets?

Look at how cities all over the country are foaming at the mouth making an attempt to bring the new Amazon headquarters to their town, and they are doing it by promising Amazon a low tax rate that is one among the considerations and necessities. Amazon is being offered billions in tax cuts to draw in new jobs.

The Butler Paradox

Now onto your question concerning the "Butler paradox." You ask if individuals, as well as butlers, become richer, will they currently be able to afford butlers of their own. The solution is yes which may be a good factor. The overall standard of living for individuals in most parts of the globe (especially the US) have raised over the years.

Many things that appear like requirements nowadays were once thought of luxuries like butlers are currently. For instance, ancient individuals thought of the utilisation of forks to be a godly extravagance; currently, you'd be looked at as a savage if you did not use one. Two or three generations past, an inside lavatory was thought of a luxury; nowadays each home has a minimum of one.

Things Becoming Affordable

Forty years past, having an automobile was the sign of being affluent. Currently, most lower to middle-class households have a car, and within America, it feels like many have multiple. Accounting for inflation, the value of things like cell phones, travel, flat screen TVs and internet is way cheaper nowadays than it had been within the past, so many more individuals have access to these things.

Taxation isn't really meant to help the poor IMO. It's to make sure those in the middle are brought down. If the gov't really wanted to help the poor they'd just print money outta thin air and give it to them! While they kind of already do that, liberal media and the Cloward-Piven strategy of economy/sociology makes sure as many as possible are dependent on gov't. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloward%E2%80%93Piven_strategy. Companies like Amazon participating in the free market are one of the few ways to combat this line of thinking.
