What Do You Do To Stay In Shape?

When trying to keep fit, think one thing: try not to use things which make your lazier gradually, for example, a car. All these new technological advancements are amazing, but they are making us lazier at the same time.

What Do I Do?

I have stopped using my car unless I need to carry heavy things or I am travelling long distances. At first, it is hard as going by car is so much quicker, so your innate reaction is to take a car, but not using your car makes you walk so much more. I've felt much healthier after doing this change. You feel much less stiff in the joints due to the constant mobility.

Another thing I do is eat healthily. I know you've heard this hundred of times before, but junk food is horrible for you. I try to keep away from junk food as they may taste great, but I have many healthy alternatives which are also delicious. Staying in shape is just exercise and diet. It is hard at first, but when you make it a habit, it's so much easier - trust me.

Do Not Cut Corners

So far, I seem to imply that I am 100% healthy and never eat anything bad, which is a lie. I do give myself a treat from time to time. Stay away from making bad foods habits like I've done with coffee. I drink a lot of coffee which can cause long-term health problems.

I do miss the effects of the gym. I used to go to the gym to exercise, but now I simply don't have the time. I am still healthy, but missing the extra health benefits of the gym. If you do go to the gym, go regularly. Your body needs at least five to six weeks of regular exercise for long-term health benefits to settle in. Simply two weeks of no exercise can reduce twenty-five to fifty percent of the progress you have made.

What To Do To Get In Shape?

Long story short, eat healthily and exercise. I know you've heard it before, but that is because it works! Watch what you eat. Do some home exercises. Go to the gym. It will do you wonders.
