To Grow, We Must Kill The Old

Hope is in every single one of us. There is hope for learning, to learn something new. There is a desire for expanding your view on the world and hope to increase in intelligence.

Be that as it may, now and then a few of us would prefer not to be bold and pursue change. Learning new ideas buries the old things deeper into our minds, extending our view and attitude on the world. To grow, we must kill off the old. Growing always involves death, no matter how much you try to deny it.

When we move forward, we are given the zing of excitement, but we usually are mourning the death of the old. We are worried about the loss, yet happy with the gained knowledge.

We are usually given the decision between safe and uncertain. Most of us choose safe, but this choice means our lives are quite tedious. Being safe means no change. We are not growing if we choose the safe option, we waste so much energy on nothing. The uncertain option gives us that feeling of excitement that we require to gives our lives meaning.

Religion Gives Us That Psychological Growth

I believe that religion is the base of all science and logic. To strip religion of all these ideologies, it is attempting to satisfy the curiosity of the mind. We want to know how we were created and religion gives us a basis to express our ideas instead of sticking to the safe option of the evolution theory.

Faith gave us the basis of logic and morals as we see it today. It isn't just constrained by the physical properties of space and time. The belief in an omniscient being gives the human brain a stimulus to work around and keep occupied. It gives our lives meaning by finding out what truly gave us existence.

In any case, I do not believe that our thirst for knowledge has been quenched. Science is just getting grips of what religion has known for millennia.

Trusting Your Own Beliefs

We do not state outlandish ideas as fact, of course. We disregard it as we come to understand that we cannot trust it. Saying that religious people just put their confidence in nonsense is false.

The reality of the matter is that confidence must have its doubts. It should likewise have its assurances. We have confidence that crossing a bridge will lead us to the opposite side. It's not completely assured, but it is not completely doubted upon. We have confidence in things as we learn things and that is the reason you ought to spur yourself to go out and acquire more knowledge and experience.
