The occult and science?steemCreated with Sketch.

So.. I was thinking about a post I made the other day about some occult numerology stuff, and some guy on steemit started saying all this stuff about how numerology is useless compared to science and math and all this stuff.. He also said that Kubrick dying exactly 666 days till 2001 on the 66th day of the year was totaly coincidence, and I'm open to that.. But I don't think any of us can really prove it.. So to say FOR SURE without any doubt that it was coincidence in my opinion is inaccurate.

And I told him something along the lines of this.. It doesn't really matter what you think about the occult or astrology or numerology or symbolism, these people believe in it deeply, and I know a couple of these people, I'm going to be careful not to say anymore than that in regards to the people I know, but I do know some people in secret societies and they are very into the things I mentioned above.

Even if it was irrational stuff they are into, even if it is all sort of useless like the guy claimed, that's besides the point because these people in power believe in it, they build their buildings and cities based on the stars, they wage wars on the stars and give kings their kingdoms and they also attack others and murder and kill people based on the stars as well. I think 9/11 is overwhelming evidence of this.

The amount of bizarre numerology in regards to 9/11.. Is fucking incredible. Whoevere these people who are doing this stuff are, these numbersand alignment of stars and symbols are all very important to them.

Furthermore, the high level occult laugh at people who just believe in science and don't try to understand the deeper esoteric mysteries. They basically consider you people as useful idiots much like they consider the police and military and governments and corporations as their stupid animals and pets. -.-

“Science is always discovering odd scraps of magical wisdom and making a tremendous fuss about its cleverness." -Aleister Crowley

"Indubitably, magic is one of the subtlest and most difficult of the sciences and arts. There is more opportunity for errors of comprehension, judgment and practice than in any other branch of physics." -Aleister Crowley

“The criers of the Mysteries speak again, bidding all men welcome to the House of Light. The great institution of materiality has failed. The false civilization built by man has turned, and like the monster of Frankenstein, is destroying its creator. Religion wanders aimlessly in the maze of theological speculation. Science batters itself impotently against the barriers of the unknown. Only transcendental philosophy knows the path. Only the illumined reason can carry the understanding part of man upward to the light. Only philosophy can teach man to be born well, to live well, to die well, and in perfect measure be born again. Into this band of the elect--those who have chosen the life of knowledge, of virtue, and of utility--the philosophers of the ages invite YOU.” -Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages

“Those without the gate frequently question the wisdom and right of the occultist to guard his knowledge by the imposition of oaths of secrecy. We are so accustomed to see the scientist give his beneficent discoveries freely to all mankind that we feel that humanity is wronged and defrauded if any knowledge be kept secret by its discoverers and not at once made available for all who desire to share in it.

The knowledge is reserved in order that humanity may be protected from its abuse at the hands of the unscrupulous.” -Dion Fortune

“We know what happened to those who chanced to meet the Great God Pan, and those who are wise know that all symbols are symbols of something, not of nothing. It was, indeed, an exquisite symbol beneath which men long ago veiled their knowledge of the most awful, most secret forces which lie at the heart of all things; forces before which the souls of men must wither and die and blacken, as their bodies blacken under the electric current. Such forces cannot be named, cannot be spoken, cannot be imagined except under a veil and a symbol, a symbol to the most of us appearing a quaint, poetic fancy, to some a foolish tale. But you and I, at all events, have known something of the terror that may dwell in the secret place of life, manifested under human flesh; that which is without form taking to itself a form.” -Arthur Machen

“There is no greater power than the one others do not believe you possess.” -Luis Marques

“People who have practiced occult religions for many years are being told that they don't know the first thing about their own religion and its beliefs and practices - and that a bunch of zealots from another religion posing as 'experts' (in a religion they despise/ fear/ oppose and who peddle slander and misinformation about occult religions), are more credible than they are. -Christina Engela

“The events I’ve chosen to record are only the most spectacular manifestations of forces that - out of fear, ignorance, everyday stupidity — are deemed ‘obscure’. But it’s now an indisputable fact that the most innocent words, the most harmless gestures in certain places and at certain times acquire an unwonted importance and weight, and have repercussions that far exceed what was intended.” -Jacques Yonnet

“By such methods, the A∴A∴ intends to make occult science as systematic and scientific as chemistry; to rescue it from the ill repute which, thanks both to the ignorant and dishonest quacks that have prostituted its name, and to the fanatical and narrow-minded enthusiasts that have turned it into a fetish, has made it an object of aversion to those very minds whose enthusiasm and integrity make them most in needs of its benefits, and most fit to obtain them.” -Aleister Crowley

“Maths is at only one remove from magic.” -Neel Burton

“As a man is taught, so he believes. Thoughts being things, they may be planted like seeds in the mind of the child and completely dominate his mental content. Given the favourable soil of the will to believe, whether the seed-thoughts be sound or unsound, whether they be of pure superstition or of realizable truth, they take root and flourish, and make the man what he is mentally.” -W.Y. Evans-Wentz

"And yet in the way of that Philosophie much cryed up in London and elsewhere, there are those like Sir Chris. who speak only of what is Rational and what is Demonstrated, of Propriety and Plainness. Religion Not Mysterious is their Motto, but if they would wish the Godhead to be Reasonable why was it that when Adam heard that Voice in the Garden he was afraid unto Death? The Mysteries must become easy and familiar, it is said, and it has now reached such a Pitch that there are those who wish to bring their mathematicall Calculations into Morality, viz. the Quantity of Publick Good produced by any Agent is a compound Ratio of his Benevolence and Abilities, and such like Excrement. They build Edifices which they call Systems by laying their Foundacions in the Air and, when they think they are come to sollid Ground, the Building disappears and the Architects tumble down from the Clowds. Men that are fixed upon matter, experiment, secondary causes and the like have forgot there is such a thing in the World which they cannot see nor touch nor measure: it is the Praecipice into which they will surely fall.” -Peter Ackroyd, Hawksmoor

So yeah.. Regardless of whether we believe in this stuff or not.. THEY DO.. And if you consider them an opponent like I DO.. Then... It is important to learn as much as you can about them, regardless of whether what they believe lines up with reality or not.. The key to defeating those in power lies in understanding them as much as possible. The less you know, the less you can potentially do. The more you know, the more you can potentially do. And.. I'll leave this with a fiction quote from one of my favorite books.

“In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him. I think it’s impossible to really understand somebody, what they want, what they believe, and not love them the way they love themselves. And then, in that very moment when I love them.... I destroy them.”
― Orson Scott Card, Ender's Game

Those who call these things 'coincidences' should be known as Coincidence Theorists. People going into such unreal depths trying to explain these events is nearly laughable given the evidence that the apparent numerology is by design, part of an ancient belief system.
Thanks for sharing, great collection of quotes.
