The Khanda
The Khanda is as iconic to Sikhism as the cross is to Christianity, the Star of David to Judaism, or the crescent moon to Islam.
This symbol derives its name from the “khanda” the double-edge sword displayed at the center of this symbol and stands as a metaphor for divine knowledge; the double-edge sword cuts through falsehood and strikes at the heart of truth.
