Obtaining happiness | Daily Inspiration #2
hello fellow Steemians!
I was recently inspired by the great first lady and activist Eleanor Roosevelt with this particular quote since I found it to be quite true.
# why shouldn't happiness be 'the goal' ?
Happiness is the ultimate goal, but like eleanor said it isn't something you can just get and keep forever by striving for just it. It's an alrightness and thankfulness with the world around you and yourself. This can be done by being inline with your true self and accepting how the world around you currently is.
As we said this, it also means when you do things that fulfill your true self you will get more happiness from it all. Of course there is no one formula for happiness as each person has their own journey to becoming fulfilled and living the life they want.
# Some activities to cultivate more happiness today:
meditate on what activities you can do to cultivate happiness
engage in creative exercises without holding yourself back, letting the artwork create itself
Use meditation to silence the mind and listen what your inner voice has to say
As always, I hope this quote has gives you as much inspiration as it gave me, to keep working hard for what truly inspires you and keep working hard!
Thankfulness was also the beleaves of Buddha. He also said that a evolution in conciousness would be the goal. Nice post
