I would have to imagine that a world where social networks are linked to payments would strain relationships. This is very applicable to the Black Mirror episode "Nose Dive" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5497778/). Many relationships would become very shallow. Every action people take would be an attempt for more social clout. I have never seen Steemit in this light before 🤔
