RE: Philosophical Metaphysics

in #philosophy6 years ago (edited)

This phrase struck a spark.

"Words describe aspects of reality that are there, or we imagine they are there."

In science we have found that all matter no matter what it is composed of, is in a constant state of motion. There is as a matter of fact no state where matter is at rest. Thus the perception of objects being at rest is a false perception. It is also where objectivity is at rest. There is no motion to objectivity unless the human mind gives it motion, by perception as a something, which manifest objectivity. So I think that objectivity doesn't exist as all matter does in motion for that is what existence and being mean. Matter in motion.

However we would also have an extreme problem if we could not falsely perceive objects that are in motion as being at rest. So though it is a oxymoron to claim using language that the chair is not moving. It is also true that using language one could say that I see objectively that the chair is at rest.

Thanks for this post as it helped me see an effect of objectivity.
