St. Padre Pio Shrine

I took this photo of the St. Padre Pio Shrine last October 21, 2018. It was my first time visiting the place.

The said shirne is located in Sto. Tomas Batangas city, Philippines. Native materials such as the bamboo were mainly used to construct the shrine.

On that day, it was the last day for the heart relic of St. Padre Pio to be displayed there. That was why a lot of Catholics were there not to just attend the mass but also to see and have the opportunity to touch the glass display for the relic.

I was able to reached the shrine at atmost night time. Not just because of the traffic, but because I have to walk a quite far distance before reaching the place because there was a limit to until what area the vehicles can enter. It was a memorable experience.
