Hard Work
I took this photo 3 years ago in the Philippines. I see a lot of these "lazy Filipino" comments in groups (Facebook) and I've seen the 18-19 yr-old girls working in air conditioned businesses with their heads on the counter... both exist, but this is what I notice more - family working together. See the girl in brown? She is 8 years old cutting carrots. Some may say "yeah, so they sit and sell veggies". Correction, they harvest them, cut them, haul them to town and sell them like this until at least 8pm. What's left gets hauled back home and at 5am, it starts again. Doesn't LOOK PRETTY... but it's damn hard work. Much respect!

so you admire me too, once in my life time I'm one of them when I was a kid helping my mother at the market selling "kangkong" that we harvest at the lake with full of leech😊

I've seen some sales ladies sleeping on the job or government employees doing their make up before entertaining clients. Those are the lazy ones.

some filipino kids from poor family had no choice but to work at an early age to help their parents earn so they could eat a decent meal. sad but this is the reality.
It's sad. It makes my heart break sometimes.
