Hello, I have good news to all of you. I was thinking of ways to further reward fellow authors that use the #philippines tag and I have come up with something great. A series of post where I curate the posts from the Top 20, and pick the top 3. This series happens every 3 days. The top post pick recieves my 100% upvote, resteem, and featured on the next edition. The second, and third top pick meanwhile gets 98%, 96% upvote respectively, and a mention also on the next edition. My 100% upvote right now is $0.20 and I thought that is not enough so then I have come up a way to reward the top authors more.

I then formulated a rewards mechanics that I will then be implementing starting this month. Here it is

Top Post Pick = 4 Points

Second Post Pick = 3 Points

Third Post Pick = 2 Points

What does this point system mean?

For the whole month I will be tallying the top authors with the respective points and at the end of the month or starting of a new month I will be giving away the reward pool total.

How does the reward pool work?

At the end of the month
Simple just like a bidbot does so for example the total reward pool is 20SBD.

• Author 1 has total of 10 points at the end of the month
• Author 2 has total of 5 points at the end of the month
• Author 3 has total of 5 points at the end of the month
  So all in all there are a total of 20 points, next we will calculate. Author 1 will have 50% of the reward pool and will recieve 10 SBD, while Author 2, and Author 3 both have the 25% reward which then will receive 5 SBD each. Understood?

Where does the reward pool come from?

The reward pool will come from the SBD generated from the series of posts. Including this post, during the editions I will create a section to update how much the Reward Pool is. At the end of the month I will then tally all of the points and calculate all the reward pool, dividends, and how much is the payout of each author. So expect on the first day of the new month a post of the reward pool payouts and the details.

We will be starting this off in the middle of November so it will be an experimental stage for now. But expect larger reward pool in December

Why do this?

First I want to motivate our fellow authors to post quality content, promote the #philippines tag and make it trending on Steemit. Provide a reward for authors to increase user retention. Your post maybe earnings cents at the moment but if your posts are quality and you have the highest points at the end of the month. Then most of the reward pool is yours! That is the main goal for now :)
