At Asia's Largest 3D Interactive Art Museum — Philippines

While other museums prohibit taking shots at their old treasures and some relics of antiquities, well this one is certainly opposite since you can enjoy touching these fascinating 3D arts painted on the wall.

On the photo shown above is a replica of Mona Lisa painted on a wall inside an interactive 3D Art Museum called Art In Island located at Cubao, Quezon City, near Gateway Mall, at Araneta Center, Ali Mall, Cubao Expo. It is found in my beloved home country which is the Philippines. And believe it or not, it is considered to be the largest in Asia in terms of total painted area.

How to Go There?

You can go there via back entrance in Cubao Expo or formerly known as Marikina Shoe Expo, or from P. Tuazon Boulevard, you need to turn to Gen. Romulo Avenue. Then, go straight ahead and enter at Cubao Expo.

This art museum was officially opened on December 25, 2014. It showcases more than 50 trick art murals painted by a team of master painters from Korea who worked on this project. The murals are said to give an illusion of depth when viewed at certain angle, which were designed as backdrop for photographical opportunities, especially those who love doing selfies and groufies.

Those who love to go at this interactive art museum can climb into paintings and do their best poses for photoshots, just make sure you leave your footwears at the entrance before doing so. It's a must really to become barefooted once you go there inside!

According to a museum employee named Blyth Cambaya, "Here, art paintings are not complete if you aren't with them, if you don't take pictures with them."

So make sure, you won't forget taking your smartphones or cameras when planning to have a photo adventure inside this art museum. You will lose the fun souvenirs you had with those art murals.

A South Korean native and Art in Island CEO named Yun Jae Kyoung, told local media that since Filipinos are known to be art lovers, they had plan to open this 3D Art Museum ever since. One of their main purpose aside from business and income is that to appreciate and encourage Filipinos' likeness to take selfies to share them with their friends on any social media platform, and as well to create a much stronger bonds among friends and families.

How Much is the Entrance Fee?

Here's the entrance fee on how much it will cost you going there inside:

For adults: ₱500 ($10)
For students/senior citizens/PWDs: ₱400 ($8)
For children: FREE (below 3 feet only)

Take note that for students and senior citizens, an ID is a must to avail the discounted price from a regular payment of ₱500 to ₱400. Tickets can only be bought at the museum. No credit cards being accepted yet thus no reservations needed and prefer cash basis by the way. You can visit anytime at this museum and selling of tickets is until 8 PM only.

When is the Available Time Open?

From Tuesdays - Sundays — 9:30 AM - 9:30 PM
Mondays — CLOSE
Holidays — OPEN

It also offers two promos to avail free entrance.

Birthday Promo — FREE as long as the celebrant has birth certificate and any valid ID showing birth date. Also free on the day before or day after their birthday.

Group Promo — 20% discount for a minimum of 15
persons (regardless of age)
