Sharing our 3rd Year Anniversary a visit to Pandin Lake San Pablo Laguna

in #philippines6 years ago

On our 3rd Year Anniversary we decided to go on a trip which is just nearby to unwind and to rest. And we decided to go to this awesome place in San Pablo Laguna.

For someone who has a very wild imagination this signage is somehow really creepy 😜 😜 Like in the horror movies

Since both of us are quite busy in our work we rarely have time to go out and date hence if we have the time to do so we always go somewhere to a place where we can relax and unwind.

If you are coming from Manila you need to take a bus that is going to San Pablo and drop off to the city church. You will need to ask the bus conductor if they will pass by on the area or not. Usually the Lucena lines are the ones that I am riding. I fogot how much the fare is because I am using that mode of transportation anymore.

I am coming from the South already and my travel is quite easy. From my vicinity Binan I just need to go to Sta. Rosa Complex which will cost me 13 pesos and then ride an FX Van going directly to San Pablo which is 80 pesos ( that is around $1.75.

I did fetched her in her home because she is just nearby and her parents wants to see me regularly bwahahahah.

Yeah fast forward from San Pablo City we decided to ride a tricycle going to the area because we do not know where the exact location of Pandin Lake is. Haha even though @ellebravo is from the area she is not the type of person who usually goes outside. She is a domesticated woman perfect for the crazy boyfiend boyfriend. We paid 90 pesos to the tricycle driver that day.

We were greeted by the kids and they asked us if we are going to the area and if we have reservations and if they need a guide.

Since we do not know where we are going to head on we immediately said yes to the 2 kids and followed them on the way to the said spot. We also paid 60 pesos per person to the security guard for the entrance fee to the said compound.

One of the kids is talkative and did inform us alot of things and did some upselling like if we want to eat Halo-halo once we arrived, a coconut and other stuff. I am craving for something cold that day but because I am feeling sick and she knew that I will be envious if she will order halo-halo we decided not to order.

After reaching the location we were told that there's a lot of people today and the reservation that we had is voided 😒😒 it is supposed to be a lunch date with only the 2 of us but for the sake of accommodating the guest that they had that day we were told that we will be sharing the bamboo raft with another couple. We are quite disappointed on that part but since we are already there then we said yes it is okay with us. They just mentioned that the fee that we will be paying is less 100 pesos. The original price for the bamboo raft with food if we will be eating and renting it just the 2 of us is 1,100 pesos. Which is roughly around $22 if converted to U.S. Dollars.

The food being offered is Grilled Tilapia, Shrimp in Coconut Milk, Fern salad. 3 rice and 2 bottled water with mini banana on the side.

For the taste of the food as I have shared I am not a fan of eating fishes hence the taste of Grilled Tilapia doesn't suit my taste. The shrimp in coconut milk is okay hmm.. nothing special I can just eat the same thing in one of our local carinderia in the area. But the fern salad is a must try! Haha never tried that before and man I really liked the taste of it. It has a fresh taste which makes it really delicious for me. I think there's a calamansi on it because of the citrus flavor of the food. That's the food that I had enjoyed on that part.

We ate and talk about anything and catch-up with some of the stories. I told her personally about the stuff that I am busy with right now and her new work too. Both of us are working at home btw.

After eating we got some pictures of the area too and here's some images of the lake and stuff.

Pandin Lake is called Twin Lake too and we got the chance to check the other Lake called Yambo Lake and we went up to get a glimpse of the location.

It is a 2 minutes walk and since we are not physically fit for walking we are grasping our breath when we reached the location.

The water is kinda green and we thought that this is due to moss that is growing below the lake.

But later we did found out that the color of the water is just the reflection from the trees surrounding the place and it is really a clear one. Here's a video showing what the color of the water looks like.

This is one of the most chillest escapade that we had because we never did anything extreme I do remember how we celebrated our first anniversary in Hulugan Falls it was so epic because we thought that we will not reach the location.

Sobrang putik ang inabot namin nyan umuulan kasi nung nagpunta kami

A lot of things have happened to us in the journey but one thing is for sure. The experience and also being with her is truly something that I am really thankful for. I love her so much and who knows maybe next year or so we have another adventure and a ring might be there on the 4th :)

This is just a short post about our experience that day. Just sharing the experience to the steemians that are checking my account on what I am doing in my spare time and also to prove that I am a real person and not an A.I. 😂 😂
