3 Reasons Why You Should Be Proud of Being a Filipina

I encountered so many people of different nationalities, religious beliefs and understandings. Some of them were my coworkers, passengers and friends as I worked in one of the Busiest Airport in the world, the Dubai International Airport.

Recently, I have met a half Turkish or Turks and half Palestinian married guy. He was introduced by a friend of mine and we surprisingly turn out to be friends. He is married to a Filipina with a son and he works in Dubai for just about 11 years. Her wife and my friend were very close friends.

He shared some few things together with how he met his Filipina wife and what are those factors that he likes about a Filipina. I find it very interesting so I listened and let him talk; he mentioned that what he mostly like were,

Firstly, we are keeping our loyalty to our partner, not all but most of us. They can feel our love and trust. And we have this very long patience because we just keep silent whenever there is a misunderstanding or fights.

Secondly, our first priority is our Family. We care so much for our family, and we will do everything for our family. We will sometimes sacrifice our own happiness for us to achieve our dreams for our family.

Thirdly, we are independent and strong. We are stronger than a man as we shoulder a man’s responsibility.

And he added that if he is going to choose all over again, he will still choose to marry a Filipina.

And I am so proud to be one.
