Tagalog Trail: Delegation Requests & Rewards

@tagalogtrail is born out of love for Filipino works. There are already thousands of Steemit authors from the Philippines, but the majority choose to write in English for the upvote and viewership. Toto, the persona of @tagalogtrail, scours Steemit for these rare gems and brings joy and appreciation to these authors.

It has been a week since we released our IntroduceYourself post, and we're quite humbled by the positive response from both Filipinos and non-Filipino Steemians. The amount of support and words of encouragement we got really made us feel that we're working for a good cause. We're still a long way to becoming "big" enough to support Filipino works significantly but the little and constant progress we're making are promising signs of good things to come 😊

Our Projects: Celebrating Filipino Works and Authors

Daily Author Engagement and Showcase

We scour Steemit for unrewarded posts written in Filipino and always leave thoughtful comments. The main goal: let these wonderful authors know that someone reads their content. For some posts that we find truly excellent or unique, we feature it in @tagalogtrail’s daily author showcase with a guaranteed reward of 50% of the daily showcase post's liquid SBD.

Contests and Collaborative Challenges

We are currently hosting two challenges: a meme contest of sorts 😋and a collaborative fiction writing challenge. Participating authors are divided into two groups and were asked to write pieces of the story in succession. The challenge is still ongoing but we're all excited to see how the final fiction would come together.

Funds Allocation

To promote transparent operations for all our supporters, we'd be discussing how @tagalogtrail allocates funds gathered from rewards or donations. These are the general guidelines:

1. All Steem Power author rewards would be allocated for account growth and would not be powered down.
2. All SBD and Steem donations from users would be allocated as indicated by the donor. If there's no instruction, the donations would 100% go to @tagalogtrail project funds.
3. All SBD author rewards would be allocated for the following purposes:
   • Tagalogtrail Project Funds would be for all ongoing and future projects
   • Featured Author Rewards are SBD funds to be distributed to daily featured authors
   • Pay It Forward Funds would be a small growing fund for future charity projects
   • Curation Team Fee would be distributed to the admin and curation team of the account

'Daily Post' Payout Distribution

Liquid fund distribution for all curation posts made daily

'Non-Daily Post' Payout Distribution

Liquid fund distribution for all non-daily posts such as newsletters and contests
