You are welcome. I am glad you enjoyed it. How about you? How do you celebrate this season?

No, not much. They celebrate in Christian areas like Goa.
The majority in India are Hindus and we don't celebrate. Just enjoy the few holidays around the new year. ;)

I understand. Thank you for sharing that information. I know India is a hindu state but the information about Goa is new to me

India isn't a Hindu state as we have no state religion! The only Hindu state in the world was Nepal when it had a monarchy, but it's gone too!
But yes, the majority in India is Hindu. The current government here also comes from a political party that has Hindu religious roots.
However, there are parts of India where there is the Christian or Muslim majority, and this is where there is a celebration of their religious festivals. ALL religions participate.
Thanks for hearing me out!

This is very informative sir. In our colleges, we often hear our professors saying that India is a hindu state that is why my dad presumed. Thank you for clearing it out to us

You're most welcome, Johanna!
We are learning from each other. :)

Thank you for enlightening us sir about a misconception of some educator about India being a hindu state. It is good to hear culture of a place to someone who is there.

Absolutely, Sir! Same here. :)
