No man can ever live alone, just like the old cliche’, no man is ever an island. People depend on each other socially, physically, emotionally, psychologically, mentally and in all other aspects. We may have not noticed but we need one another and have been needing each other since the very beginning.
There are people who choose silence, who choose to be alone and stay away from social media, from friends or even family members. These kind of people find peace and serenity in silence, in moonlight, and in raindrops. There is nothing bad about it we have our own choices in life. I myself is the same, I can stay inside my room for one whole day without talking to anyone. I don’t know if it comes with age because I’m not that old yet, I’m only 28 but its never my piece of cake to join night parties, clubbing or even join team buildings at work. Most people call me “KJ” or killjoy but I don’t care I don’t want to force myself to do something I don’t like.
There are times that I am joining colleagues just for the sake of “joining them” and when I get there I am enjoying myself 😊 I believe it’s just balanced with my laziness and socialization from time to time.
I do this because I know I cannot live alone, my room won’t talk to me, the moonlight and the raindrops will not tell me much about life and living. We need other people to grow, we need other people to understand our purpose, we need others to learn and to wake up in the reality of the vastly changing world.
This is one side of me, that I can proudly share to everyone. Life is not just about you, it’s about you AND the people around you, at the end of the day please realize that you were not born alone, learn to need others because others need you too. We just have our own unique way to be of help to others, consciously or unconsciously.
