I can remember very well how it was with my first posts too so I understand what you mean but do not be disheartened. Steemit will make it all your time and effort. That's something I can say from my experience here. =)

Finally after a lpt pf attmpts and multiple logouts my introduce yourself has been posted 😃 i tooke 3 days to figure out because of slow net--- only in the philippines ,lol. Thank you all for that very comforting and encouraging words you got there. This is just a start of having a family here.
Engagement is the key..no matter how good your content is, members need to know you. If they like how you are interacting with them, they will check your posts and upvote if they like them. Get to know the members here, most are nice and helpful.
Maybe later you'll enjoy it more. Be patient.
