"The Maldives of the Philippines" (hidden Gem)

Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and visit somewhere, where there is peace and tranquility. Manjuyod Sandbar or dubbed as the Maldives of the Philippines is the perfect destination for your next outing. The hidden gem is situated in Negros Oriental in North Bais bay. It takes only 15 minutes boat ride from the wharf. This sand bar is a 7- kilometer stretch of powdery white sand and crystal clear turquoise blue water.

The sandbar is fully exposed during low tide.

There is also oyster sold in the sandbar and alcoholic drinks by the boatmen.

Aside from swimming and snorkeling, you can enjoy banana boat ride. There is also a dolphin watching in bais, a 30 minute boat ride from the sandbar. But we didn't witnessed it because we arrived late in the afternoon. Dolphins usually seen early in the morning.
