Tutorial - How to Download Your Own or Friend's Videos from Facebook Without Any Software
Hello Steemians!
On this post, I want to share a quick tutorial on how you can download your videos from Facebook.
This will be beneficial for people who:
Wants to learn how to download their own or other people's videos on Facebook.
Uploaded their videos on Facebook but have deleted them from their computer.
Disclaimer! This is for educational purpose only. Don't just download and upload anyone's video from FB especially those with copyright as you might get sued for infringement or plagiarism.
Downloading Your Own Video
If the video was uploaded by you, it is very easy.
Go to Facebook and open your profile page.
Click MORE then click on videos as shown in the image.
Put your mouse cursor over the video and click the edit and remove icon then click download HD or download SD and that's it. Note that the download HD will only appear if the video is in HD quality.
Downloading Other People's Video
This one is also easy but requires more steps than the previous one. We all know that Facebook doesn't have an option for you to download a friend's video but there is a way without the help of any software.
Log in to Facebook and find the video you want to download.
Right click on the video and then click SHOW VIDEO URL. A small window will open showing the URL of the video.
Press Ctrl+C on the URL and paste it on the address bar.
This one is very important, after putting the URL on to the address bar, change the "www" to "m" then hit enter. So instead of www.facebook, it should be m.facebook. The video page should be look like this.
Play the video, right click on it and select save video as into your computer. This works for Chrome and Firefox.
Hope this post would help you guy. It's a simple way to download some of your vids then you can put it on dtube, youtube and share on Steemit.
But be responsible and law abiding when it comes to downloading other vids.
