Defining Art

ART is a skill on doing something out of your own strength. Whether it is on painting, sculpture, film and theater, even on dancing and performing arts and some modern arts branches nowadays. This is a very wide range of skills and talents that a man can have. Art is a great expression of ourselves.

A brief history how Art in Philippines started

Way back in the years that Spanish came to our country, they taught us a lot of good stuff and skills as well. For some researchs tells that the ancient filipinos has the artist instinct before invaders came.

During Spanish Colonial years, 1521-1898 the formal way of painting, sculpture and architecture introduces to the Filipinos. The artworks that they made was usually focusing on religious look like. Though we know that we have several talented and world class artist. I will share some of them.

Here are some photos that we (@jayjaydy)took while on the art museum. This was all taken by our phone and not owned by others. I do some edits to put the artist's name and the title of this paintings on the left side of the photos.

Since i was sharing some of my recent blogs about the Ancient Philippine culture, i think it is normal to research more details so i can give you the right info. The google is free of exploring their site and as i am researching, i try to understand it and i used my own kind of words for what is about am i reading. As you may notice i struggled with some grammars. Well we have bots to detect if we copy from others works i think it's the number one detector for plagiarism. No exception with that.

This modern generation there are lots of new art style like Doodle and Digital Arts, with Animè that i wanted to learn too. As we know that a hand with a skill of an artist is a gift from God.

Let me share my own hand made drawing of my favorite animè series when i was in my high school days. She is Miaka from the cartoon from Japan, Fushigi Yuugi. I am not a pro haha i hope i will do better the next time i draw something.
