#ulog 18th My First Travel Blog at Venice Grand Canal Mall
Allow me to share this time our first Travel Blog and our bonding time as well with my fiancè @jayjaydy
Way back July 23, 2017 he planned to have a simple getaway from our work and go to this place. We are a type of couple that don't have enough time to get out and have ourselves some rest 'cause we're both busy on our own jobs. And aside from that we are committed on our Church ministry in music so our day off will be spent on Church too. So our bonding routine will just to see each other atleast 2 to 3 times a week including Sundays.
So he planned it at first that he wanted to go somewhere. He asked me where do i wanted to go or any idea. I was hesitant at first to say that i wanted to go to Venice which is in Taguig. And i think it was so far to commute only. But when i told it to him he says, " it looks good, i will take you there ".
The Venice Grand Canal Mall was located at Mc Kinley Hills BGC, Taguig. A very well modernized city in the South. Venice Mall caught the attention of Filipinos for it's unique structure, color and style that was a look alike in the real Venice in Italy. They built a man made canal that when you look at it closely, it was like a long type of pool! So cool and they have Glandola. They completed the package of the First replica of a Venice Italy in Philippines.
Our meeting place was here at Marilao exit in a bus stop that routed in Sta.Cruz Manila. It was too early to go in Venice that's why he decided to stop by at the Mall of Asia. This is not our first time to be in this mall so we just stay in M.O.A till 1pm.
Here are some photos when we were in M.O.A.
At the seaside😊
A cute little creature
After that we decided to get a bus ride to Ayala. Since it was our first time to travel this far, our best friend at that time is a google map. All the locations are accurate and we ask the bus conductor to tell us if we reached our desired destination. To cut the long story short. It take an hour from M.O.A to Venice in Taguig.
Let start our exploration in this cool mall.
We took a ride on a jeepney cost us 8 pesos each and i think a 20 minute walk before we got into Venice Grand Canal Mall.
Out first selfie at Venice
We walked first around outside the mall. A lot of people was there because it was Sunday that time, a family day.
Afternoon shot
I love the coziness of this mall. Unlike other typical mall. It surrounded a sound that was so relaxing like an Opera music. Aside from that they have a street human statue. I missed to get some shot.
This is a resto bar
Empire Bar
This restobar caught my attention. I like the style of this restaurant. Looks like your on Italy right? You can eat at the side of it or inside.
Looks like Big Ben,or just my imagination haha, a clock and the unique structure.
On this side of Venice Mall they place some doves to be fed by the visitors. We're just so tired that why we don't go down there and took some coffee as we took some photos from above. Coffee is a good strength booster!☕
As we walked and walked, our feet lead us inside the mall this time. I like the ambiance inside of this mall. They put a lot of nice wallpapers in 3d that why lots of people took selfies on some walls. They put hanging decorations as you may see on our pictures below.
The style of this mall brings you to an old times in Italy. Very good for taking pictures. Some edit and your done. I don't missed my chance for a remembrance lol!
That chubby face of mine😂
An evening shot on the Canal view
We've missed the chance to try ride a Gondola. Because that time is Sunday, it is a pick season that night. We have to wait for an hour to have a slot. So we have to gave it up and look for another one that looks interesting.
Our feet led us again here in Empire Bar. At first i was hesitant 'cause it looks so dark inside and it is a bar. ( i don't drink alcohol ) But @jayjaydy said let's try inside and what it looks like so we step in that bar.
Side view shot at Empire Bar
Front look of it! I am nervous😂
When we enter that restobar, i am amazed. That's why i don't have more photos inside this. Maybe it was my first time on this kind of place. Looks very classy, they had a live band performer too. We order some food but the first served was our coffee.
A coffee and wine at the side, they didn't match right?😂
