PAKARADJAAN BASILAN 2018
Basilan is celebrating its 44th founding anniversary. The anniversary is commonly known as PAKARADJAAN.
Pakaradjaan is a yakan word which means "celebration".
Pakaradjaan is yearly celebration for the founding anniversary of BASILAN from the day it was announced as Province from being City. This year's theme is "SOWING SEEDS OF PEACE:Celebrating LIFE, CULTURE and PROSPERITY."
This celebration is one way of telling people that the situation of BASILAN is getting better especially when we talk about peace.
We BASILEÑOS are promoting BASILAN as a tourism destination since it has many places that are really beautiful to visit.

How I wish I do have a clear picture of this beautiful island found in our province. This island is TAEKILA ISLAND IN MALUSO,BASILAN. This is one of the best beaches found in MALUSO MUNICIPALITY.
The activities started last February 26, 2018 and will end on March 7, 2018.
As you can see there are a lot of different activities and also opportunities for those people who are jobless in our place. There is also a medical and dental mission that is being offered for those people who cannot afford to go to hospital to have a check-up.
We thank our very supportive governor Mr. Jim Hataman Salliman for his in unending support and to our Regional Governor Mr. Mujiv Hataman.
Please don't be afraid visiting our province,we assure you that BASILAN has something to offer you.

It is nice to see a different view on Basilan. Honestly when we first chatted months ago and you told me when you were from that place I got scared for you maybe it is the conditioning the media as inculcated in the minds of many people that Basilan is a dangerous and violent place. You should do more post about your area and let them see how gorgeous and peaceful it is. There mind be some hot zones in the area but it does not mean that the whole place is a hotzone. Keep yup the good work of informing people about your place I hope to see more of this here in steemit. Happy Steeming ate and see you around :)
yes I think steemit is one of the good opportunity to let other people know that Basilan is a beautiful and peaceful place now. Maraming pwedeng ipagmalaki ang basilan. Napakaraming pwedeng puntahan at marami ring napakagandang beach dito..

yes and it makes us sad. Basilan is a beautiful place . I hope the perception about basilan will change.
