The Connector

Hello fellow steemers! Shown here is the first long bridge that connects mainland Cebu to the island of Lapu-lapu in the philippines. People used to ride boats and bancas and vehicles were carried by barges in order to inter cross islands. Imagine the relief they had when it constructed. It was constructed during the time of Pres. Marcos and was truly his legacy. It used to have toll booth but then it was stopped along with it the toll booth was demolished. Today, the islands has two bridges to accomodate the people. As business and industry is booming and there is a plan of constructing a third bridge
